Logpoint achieves Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validation of targets

Press release -

Logpoint achieves validation of its greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets by the Science Based Targets initiative

Logpoint aims to reduce emissions by 42% by 2030 in operations and by 51.6% per million EUR value added in the value chain. The SBTi has approved Logpoint’s near-term science-based emissions reduction target.

Copenhagen, August 22, 2025Logpoint is taking steps toward a more sustainable future. By committing to science-based targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), the cybersecurity company is aligning its operations and value chain with the level of climate action needed to keep global warming in check.

Logpoint has committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions for the company’s own operations by 42% (Scope 1 and 2) by 2030 compared to 2023. Logpoint is also committed to lowering emissions across the value chain by 51.6% per million EUR value added (Scope 3) by 2030.

Logpoint has already cut emissions in its own operations by 6% and emissions in the value chain by 28%, thanks to initiatives like switching to renewable electricity, phasing out fossil fuel vehicles, and using sustainable heating solutions. This progress puts Logpoint well on track to meet its 2030 targets.

“Safeguarding society goes beyond cybersecurity,” says Mikkel Drucker, CEO at Logpoint. “By committing to science-based emission reductions, we’re taking responsibility for our environmental footprint and hope to inspire change across our industry and supply chains. Every reduction counts, and tech companies have a critical role to play in addressing climate change.”

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) provides standards and guidance for companies to set emission reduction targets aligned with limiting global warming and reaching net-zero by 2050.
